AVICOM advises, keeps informed and increases the museum professionals’ awareness about the possibilities audiovisual methods and the new technologies offer to the museums. The AVICOM Working Group on Photography is devoted to the still image and is currently in the process of compiling information for a thematic directory of art and documentary photograph collections in museums and cultural establishments the world over. The AVICOM Working Group on Multimedia is devoted to cinema, video, multimedia and the Internet. It offers evening workshops for students and the general public in order to introduce them to new technologies. This working group also organises the International Audiovisual Festival on Museums and Heritage (FAIMP) which promotes and disseminates multimedia products created by museums and cultural heritage institutions, and awards prizes for the most original productions.

Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee

Voraussetzung für die Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee ist eine individuelle oder institutionelle Mitgliedschaft bei ICOM.

Die Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee erfolgt durch das ICOM-Generalsekretariat in Paris. Der Aufnahmeantrag besteht aus einem einseitigen englischsprachigen Formular.

Sollten Sie sich für die Mitarbeit in einem der internationalen Komitees von ICOM interessieren, möchten wir Sie bitten, den Aufnahmeantrag ausgefüllt und unterschrieben direkt an das ICOM-Generalsekretariat in Paris zu senden.
