CIMAM - International Committee for Museums and Collections of Modern Art

CIMAM is a forum about the collection and exhibition of modern and contemporary art. It is composed essentially of the directors and curators of modern and contemporary art museums. CIMAM's members participate in annual meetings devoted to the practical, ethical and philosophical problems confonting these museums. The goal of this forum is to exchange scientific information and cooperation between museums worldwide, in order to contribute to the knowledge and to the comprehension of the role museums and contemporary art institutions play in the social and cultural development.

Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee

Voraussetzung für die Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee ist eine individuelle oder institutionelle Mitgliedschaft bei ICOM.

Die Aufnahme in ein internationales Komitee erfolgt durch das ICOM-Generalsekretariat in Paris. Der Aufnahmeantrag besteht aus einem einseitigen englischsprachigen Formular.

Sollten Sie sich für die Mitarbeit in einem der internationalen Komitees von ICOM interessieren, möchten wir Sie bitten, den Aufnahmeantrag ausgefüllt und unterschrieben direkt an das ICOM-Generalsekretariat in Paris zu senden.
